Kami Insurance Agencies Ltd. was started by second-generation Japanese-Canadian, Alfred Kamitakahara in 1959. The first office was located in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown until the early 1970s, then relocated to various locations in the downtown core.
Since 1992 we have been located in the West Broadway corridor.
We have just celebrated 50 years in business. More stories and history will be added here over the next few months as we go through our old photos and records.
